Anthropic expands GSA partnership, offers 40% discount on Claude for government

Anthropic announced a new agreement with the General Services Administration that gives U.S. federal, state, local, tribal and territorial governments a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government, and the Claude API. The discount applies across all purchase channels, and the company reports about 500 government organizations already use Claude, with weekly active users up eightfold since February and overall agency usage up twentyfold in a year.
