Meta partners with five US universities to fund Superintelligence research
Meta is providing Superintelligence models, $2 million in research funding, and direct collaboration to five U.S. universities—Caltech, Ohio State College of Medicine, LSU, Indiana University, and UTHealth Houston—to accelerate breakthroughs in medicine, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and mathematics. One project, Eyes‑On, uses computer vision to detect infant tracheostomy tube displacement.
Why it matters
Consider integrating Meta’s Superintelligence models into medical‑device monitoring products; the Eyes‑On project shows a concrete use case.
