Trezor alerts users to suspected implant in Safe 5 hardware wallets
Trezor received credible reports that a Trezor Safe 5 sold by reseller CryptoBilis in Southeast Asia contained an extra circuit board with a cellular module that could read the screen and transmit the recovery phrase. The company has not examined the device but warned users to move private keys to known safe wallets.
