Anthropic blocks Claude Code from cloning existing video games
Anthropic added two sentences to Claude Code's Opus 5.5 system prompt that prevent the assistant from recreating existing video games, even if renamed. The rule, active for several days, allows users to build original games with custom assets but some report issues with existing projects.
