SETI Institute and Breakthrough Listen Deploy AI Agents to Control Allen Telescope Array
The SETI Institute and Breakthrough Listen are using Nvidia’s Holoscan platform to run AI agents that steer the Allen Telescope Array and analyze radio data in real time. The system reduced tasks that previously took weeks to hours and detected a Crab Nebula pulsar live; Nvidia claims the hardware can process up to 2.4 terabits per second.
