Anthropic releases open-source sandbox-runtime for Claude Code agents

Anthropic's sandbox-runtime (srt) is an open-source OS-level sandbox that restricts file and network access for agents, MCP servers and CLI tools using Seatbelt on macOS and bubblewrap on Linux, eliminating the need for containers.
