Apple to scan public iCloud share links for harmful content
Apple will check any iCloud item shared via the “Anyone with the Link” option for “harmful content” in iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS 27.3, removing end‑to‑end encryption for those items without defining the term.
Why it matters
Add privacy notices about iCloud public link scanning; users will expect content to be inspected and possibly removed.
